Injectable Fillers are an exciting advance in the world of plastic surgery.   It is a way of creating a more youthful looking face without any surgery or scars!  The most commonly used fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite.  The injections are most commonly used in the cheek, chin or areas around the mouth and the lips.  The results can last from 6-12 months.  

     Injection of fillers will smooth out cheeks, lines around the mouth and chin, create fuller lips and add general volume to the face, making it look younger but still natural.  The injections are performed under local anesthesia in the office, and results are almost instant.  Bruising is common after this procedure but can be minimized by carefully following instructions to avoid excessive activity for 1-2 days following the injections.   We also will advise you on herbal medications to help minimize bruising.   A consultation will allow you to show the doctor the areas you wish to improve, and the best filler for that area.
